We believe that an introduction to the dramatic arts fosters student imagination and creativity, exercises their presentation and public performance skills, and encourages dedicated study and research of various dramatic styles.
Elementary school students present short skits, and 5th and 6th graders are often involved in a dramatic production.
Academy students are involved in at least two major annual productions, one act play festivals, yearly participation in the VT theatre festival, and 10 minute plays (written and performed by 9th graders).
Contact: Gordon Christie-Maples (elementary) and Anna Alden (Academy).
