As part of the Rivendell Interstate K-12 School District, the Rivendell Academy offers a middle school program for students in grades 6-8. In addition to the core academic subjects, students are introduced to either French or Spanish. There are rich opportunities for choral and instrumental music in addition to creative and theater arts. We support the whole child with a health and physical education program, competitive athletics and academic contests and focused middle level guidance.
In keeping with the District’s philosophies, middle level students take part in place-based learning activities and community service-learning projects. We have high expectations for our students in academics and personal responsibility as we concentrate on the modern day 3 “R”s of Rigor, Relevance and Relationships. We have dedicated middle level educators that help our students in exploration of the age-old question, “Who am I?” Everything we do, we do with PRIDE.
