Reorganization of the Rivendell Interstate School District

The purpose for engaging in reorganization of the Rivendell Interstate School District is to create opportunities for a stronger academic program while remaining fiscally responsible to all members of the Rivendell community. This process started two years ago with the help of Ray Proulx, an outside consultant.  At that time the strategic planning process was just beginning and the Board felt they needed more time to explore reorganization possibilities.

1. Create an administrative structure that provides for instructional leadership, educational leadership, effective and efficient management, and greater continuity of curriculum and expectations across the district.
2. Address the increasing cost of educating the students in light of declining enrollment
3. Insure that the reorganization aligns with the values that drive the RISD Mission
